Business Administration Major Tourism

The main strategic challenges of the tourism industry are the focus of the MSc Business Administration Major Tourism, making it ideal for those seeking management positions in tourism.

The Master of Science in Business Administration with a Major in Tourism will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of tourism from a strategic perspective. This will allow you to recognise potential opportunities and associated risks in technological, social and environmental changes and to define and implement the necessary actions to turn challenges into opportunities.

The tourism sector is currently experiencing considerable change from both within (increasing competition, innovative and niche products, new business models and management processes, etc.) as well as outside the sector (changing demographics and politics, new source markets and savvy customers, new technologies and their uses, immediate and long-term environmental crises, etc.). These changes require a strategic approach towards the further development of tourism.

We provide various opportunities for active learning, by practicing your knowledge and skills outside of the classroom and for learning from practitioners. Check out the more than lectures section for more information on all the learning opportunities we offer.
