As future executives and specialised personnel, university graduates are vital to international companies. The goal of the research was to find out if and in what areas of compliance young professionals must be sensitised and trained to avoid legal and ethical violations.

To support this, an online survey was conducted amongst more than 1,500 students at Swiss universities to examine their attitude and knowledge of corruption.

The results show significant gaps amongst all students regardless of their field of study. The degree of ignorance was extremely high concerning the problem of corruption abroad. All this underlines the major need for awareness raising and sensitisation.
