It is a great challenge for students to keep an overview due to the great variety of information sources available. However, we are here to help you with our comprehensive training and range of advisory services related to the topics of searching for information and literature processing.
Besides an introductory tour of the library in Semester 1 and different courses which are carried out within the scope of teaching events at HTW Chur, there is also a regular range of voluntary short training sessions over lunch that are aimed at all students and employees of HTW Chur. An appointment can be booked at any time for individual advice.
Under the motto “Promoting reading as a cultural task of a library”, we want to offer students and employees something for their leisure time. There are ongoing public film evenings or lectures which are tailored to the teaching subjects of HTW Chur.
Information on our public events is available at
Students, lecturers and employees of HTW Chur meet for the film club once a month, which shows a selected film in the technical library in relaxed surroundings. Participation is free and non-binding; however, if you intend to come, we would be pleased if you would register for organisational reasons.
Event practical training
HTW Chur enjoys working with students who organise a event within the scope of the teaching module “Event practical training”. Both ideas from the library as well as their own ideas can be implemented if these are in line with our event policy. If you are interested, please contact the library by e-mail!
