Annika Aebli studied BWL with majors in Corporate/Business Development, Marketing and Tourism. During her Master studies, she discovered her passion for applied research. In her Master thesis, she showed how successful user innovations evolve in cooperation between companies and users. This work was honoured with a promotional award from the Canton of St.Gallen.
In her current work as a research associate and project leader in the field of digitization in tourism, her main research interests include consumer behaviour, technology in human behaviour, mobile technology adoption as well as general societal effects of technology. Further, Annika lectures in the courses empirical social research and eCommerce.
As a balance to her mental work, she loves to do physical activities during her leisure time. Different styles of yoga, dancing ballet and jogging outdoors are among her favourites.
