Situated at the interface between the worlds of business and politics, our research in the area of Economic Policy looks at government measures aimed at influencing and managing economic affairs. It also addresses the behaviour of economic players (companies and households) and the impact of economic policy both on the economy as a whole and on individual sectors and regions.
The economic policy research conducted by the Centre for Economic Policy Research (ZWF) is application and solution-oriented and primarily focuses on issues and problems affecting Alpine regions. This requires research focus areas that meet the multifaceted challenges in this field and at the same time place an emphasis on key influential factors. Hence the activities of the ZWF revolve around three closely related research fields.
Labour Market and Social Policy
